Social world, the world of persons, various societies, events and processes is endlessly different and inconsistent. Human tragedies and happiness, love and conflicts, masses and elites, war and work, faith and art - all this is the object of knowledge of sociology. Sociology is a science about society, a science about human coexistence. In the modern world sociology is a necessary component of culture, condition for studying social processes, for forecasting the future, for adopting of administrative decisions at all levels: from state up to intragroup.
To be a sociologist means to have a modern, prestigious and fascinating profession. The sociologist collects the information on the social phenomena, studies the essence, the reasons and consequences of social changes, generalizes social knowledge and builds new, perspective ideas, theories, forecasts.
To be a sociologist means to be responsible and efficient. The sociologist should have profound knowledge, developed intellectual, creative and communicative talents.

The license received by the ISU from the Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science gives the right to give education to foreign citizens.
