The ISU has the lisence for preparation of specialists of educational-qualificational levels of Bachelor, Specialist and Master, and also the certificate about accreditation of speciality “History” of the IV level from the Ministry of Science and Education of Ukraine. Preparation of specialists is carried out with full-time and part-time forms of study, and retraining (the second higher education) - with the part-time form.

Students are offered course on history of Ukraine (from the most ancient times up to the present), world history (from the most ancient people up to the end of XX century), historiography of history of new and newest time of the countries of Europe and the USA, techniques of teaching of history, history of the Ukrainian and foreign culture, etc., special historical disciplines, and also special courses on history, culture and tradition of Jewish people.
